After construction of new building of Himalayan Free Church at Matigara (Siliguri), the Bible School been shifted there and also named as "School of Shepherd", which continues till date. The School of Shepherd operates Bible School in two sessions. The first one-month sessions take place from January to February. Especially this session is open to all interested and dedicated believers of the congregations. And the next session runs from September to November of each year for a three-month period. HFCI-EFCDC Education Program

With the special support of Finland, financial assistance for the Pastors’ children and other deprived children of HFCI also successfully implementing as a part of education ministry.   Currently 76 children are taking advantage of this sponsorship from Finland through Educational Fund for Children in Developing Countries (EFCDC).

In addition, free scholarships are also being run for the economically deprived and orphaned children under the special leadership of local congregations of HFCI.

Specialty been imparted to the majority of Pastors' and evangelical workers' children as they do not have hefty income and enough ministerial financial support.

Education support from Finland through EFCDC is a blessing for children to get better and quality education in the Himalayas.

In the field of education, the Himalayan Free Church can play a major role among the future generations as we can consider minors as a means of sharing the gospel.
